Houseboat | Munnar

This 5Days 4Night Alleppey Houseboat Munnar Tour Package picks you from Cochin and move directly to Alleppey Houseboat for 21hrs cruise and move towards Munnar with Munnar sightseeing and Cochin on last day. This tour package covers approximately 650km in 5days. This is recommended if your arrival at Cochin is before 8am.

  • Day 1

    Cochin to Alleppey Houseboat

    • Drive to Alleppey and check-in to Houseboat at 12 Noon.
    • Houseboat will be stopped for lunch for 1hrs with the cruise till 5:30 pm.
    • The boat will be anchored till the next morning.
    • 1-hour cruise in the morning before check out at 9 am.
    • There are different categories of houseboats available such as Deluxe, Premium, and Luxury, where Deluxe is the basic category.
    • In the houseboat, you will be greeted with a welcome drink, tea, snacks, mineral water, lunch, dinner and breakfast.
  • Day 2

    Alleppey to Munnar

    • The drive from Alleppey to Munnar requires a minimum of 5 hours.
    • If you have only one night stay at Munnar, start early from Alleppey so as to reach Munnar at the earliest for sightseeing on the same day.
    • If you have two nights at Munnar, start from Alleppey at your own time after visiting Alleppey Beach.
    • Munnar sightseeing can be done the next day.
  • Day 3

    Munnar

    • Suggest starting at 9 am for visiting Eravikulam National park, followed by Tea Museum.
    • Post lunch, visit Mattuppetty dam, Echo point, Kundala Lake, Viewpoints, Pothamedu view point and Botanical Garden.
    • Note: The Eravikulam National Park tickets can be either booked in advance or purchased from the counter.
    • The park is closed from Feb to April due to the breeding time of Nilgiri Tahr.
    • Tea Museum is closed on Mondays.
  • Day 4

    Cochin

    • Subject to availability of time, Cochin sightseeing includes Fort Cochin, the Navy Museum, St Francis Church, the Chinese Fishing Net, Santa Cruz Cathedral Basilica, Mattanchery Palace, Jewish Synagogue, Marine Drive, Marine Walkway, boating, and Tripunitura Hill Palace.
    • Shopping at Cochin, if interested.
    • Overnight stay at Cochin.
    • Hill palace opens from 9 AM to 4 PM and is closed on Mondays, and Dutch Palace is closed on Fridays.
    • The Synagogue is open from 10 AM to 1 PM and 3PM to 5 PM and is closed on Fridays and Saturdays.
  • Day 5

    Cochin sightseeing and drop

    • Drive to Cochin.
    • Subject to availability of time, Cochin sightseeing covering Fort Cochin, the Navy Museum, St Francis Church, the Chinese Fishing Net, Santa Cruz Cathedral Basilica, Mattanchery Palace, Jewish Synagogue, Marine Drive, Marine Walkway, boating, Tripunitura Hill Palace.
    • Can go for a shopping at Cochin, if interested.
    • Our representative will drop you at Cochin Airport/Railway station/Bus station and will extend necessary support there.
    • Departure for your hometown with sweet memories of your Kerala trip.
    • Hill palace opens from 9 AM to 5 PM and is closed on Monday.
    • Dutch palace is closed on Friday.
    • The synagogue opens from 10 AM to 1 PM and 3 to 5 PM and is closed on Friday and Saturday.

Houseboats are categorized into Deluxe, Luxury and Premium classes. Deluxe houseboats will have very basic amenities. While booking a tour with us, you can ask our executive for a premium or luxury houseboat especially during the summer season, for better experience.
