  • Day 1

    • Pick-up from Cochin and drive to Munnar (4-5-hrs), offering a breathtaking transition into the lush green Western Ghats.
    • Enroute, visit Cheeyappara and Valara Waterfalls, followed by an immersive visit to local tea plantations and spice gardens.
    • Check into Tea County by KTDC. Relax and soak in the serene atmosphere.
      (The resort offers a variety of amenities to enhance your stay, including spa treatments, guided tea valley tours, trekking, and boating- available for an additional fee).
    • In the evening, visit Kalari Kshethra to witness the vibrant artistry of a traditional Kathakali performance and a thrilling Kalaripayattu martial arts show
    • Return to hotel to unwind and recharge for the day ahead. Overnight stay.
  • Day 2

    • After breakfast, by 9 am, departure for a visit to Eravikulam National Park, followed by an insightful tour of the Tea Museum.
    • After lunch, the exploration continues with visits to Mattupetty Dam, the resonant Echo Point, and serene Kundala Lake, alongside several breathtaking local viewpoints.
    • Discover Pothamedu View Point, the Botanical Garden, and the lush Blossom Hydel Park.
    • Return to the resort, and relax for the evening, enjoying the resort's peaceful surroundings at your leisure.
  • Day 3

    • Breakfast, check-out and departure for Thekkady by 9:00 AM. (3-4 hrs.)
    • Check in to Aranya Nivas by KTDC or Lake Palace by KTDC.
    • Following lunch, visit Periyar Wildlife Sanctuary to experience the natural beauty of Lake Periyar.
    • If you are staying at Aranya Nivas, you can enjoy a boat cruise during the 1:45 PM to 3:30 PM slot (tickets can be booked in advance or at the counter). The resort also offers a variety of activities on an additional charge, such as bamboo rafting, nature walks, elephant rides, and guided treks.
      For those staying at Lake Palace, the itinerary is slightly different to take advantage of the unique location.
    • Spend the afternoon enjoying elephant-related activities (such as rides, baths, or feeding) on a direct-payment basis. Enjoy a complimentary wildlife boat cruise at 3:30 PM. The Lake Palace also offers curated experiences like bird watching, jungle patrols, border hiking, and bamboo rafting (available for an extra fee).
    • Overnight stay.
  • Day 4

    • After breakfast, check out and proceed to Cochin (3-4 hrs drive).
    • Subject to the availability of time, complimentary Cochin sightseeing which includes fort cochin, the Navy museum, St Francis church, the Chinese fishing net, Santa Cruz basilica, Mattanchery palace, Jewish synagogue, Marine drive, Marine walkway, boating etc.
    • Or, can go for a shopping at Cochin.
    • Drop at Cochin International Airport/Railway Station.

Notes:

  • The Eravikulam National Park tickets can be either booked in advance or purchased from the counter.
  • The park is closed from Feb to April due to the breeding time of Nilgiri Tahr.
  • Tea Museum is closed on Mondays.
  • The Dutch palace is closed on Fridays.
  • The synagogue opens from 10 AM to 1 PM and 3 to 5 PM and is closed on Fridays and Saturdays.
