Alleppey | Houseboat | Munnar | Thekkady

This tour package picks you from Cochin and move towards Alleppey and then houseboat stay with 21hrs cruise, Thekkady and Munnar with Cochin sightseeing on last day. The tour covers approximately 700km in 7days

  • Day 1

    Cochin to Alleppey

    • Drive to the resort at Alleppey.
    • Enjoy the amenities in the resort for a day.
    • Visit Alleppey beach, if the resort is closer, and can go for shopping if time permits.
    • Overnight stay in the same resort.
  • Day 2

    Alleppey Houseboat

    • Houseboat Check-in is at 12.
    • 00 Noon and cruises till evening 5.
    • 30 pm with a halt of 1 hour for lunch.
    • The boat will be anchored till next morning.
    • 1-hour cruise in the morning followed by check out at 9 am.
    • There are different categories of houseboats available such as Deluxe, Premium, and Luxury, where Deluxe is the basic category.
    • In the houseboat, you will be greeted with a welcome drink, tea, snacks, mineral water, lunch, dinner, and breakfast.
  • Day 3

    Alleppey to Thekkady

    • The drive from Alleppey to Thekkady requires about 4 hours.
    • On arrival, go for the boating to enjoy Periyar wildlife sanctuary.
    • In the evening, watch martial arts, Kathakali, elephant ride, elephant bath, musical fountain and experience an Ayurveda massage (all are optional activities with separate entrance fees, It is advisable to book online tickets for Periyar Boating in advance as it is very difficult to get tickets during tourist seasons, vacations and week ends as well).
  • Day 4

    Thekkady

    • When you have two nights at Thekkady, either relax or continue with the missed-out activities mentioned above.
    • You can even go for eco-tourism activities such as a full-day Gavi tour, trekking, Bamboo rafting, natural walking, Green walking, tiger trail, jungle patrol, etc (all are optional with separate entrance fees).
    • Overnight stay at Thekkady (Read our blog on Thekkady for more details).
  • Day 5

    Thekkady to Munnar

    • Drive to Munnar from here.
    • Overnight stay at Munnar.
  • Day 6

    Munnar

    • Suggest starting at 9 am for visiting Eravikulam National park, followed by Tea Museum.
    • Post lunch, visit Mattuppetty dam, Echo point, Kundala Lake, Viewpoints, Pothamedu view point and Botanical Garden.
    • Note: The Eravikulam National Park tickets can be either booked in advance or purchased from the counter.
    • The park is closed from Feb to April due to the breeding time of Nilgiri Tahr.
    • Tea Museum is closed on Mondays.
  • Day 7

    Munnar to Cochin drop

    • Pick up from Munnar and drop at Cochin.
    • If time available, we provide complimentary Cochin sightseeing which includes fort cochin, the Navy museum, St Francis church, the Chinese fishing net, Santa Cruz basilica, Mattanchery palace, Jewish synagogue, Marine drive, Marine walkway, boating, Tripunitura hill palace.
    • You can find some time for shopping at Cochin.
    • Our representative will leave you at Cochin Airport/Railway station/Bus stand and will extend the necessary support there.
    • Drive back to your hometown with the sweet memories of the Kerala trip with Paradise Holidays.
    • Hill palace opens from 9 AM to 5 PM and is closed on Mondays.
    • The Dutch palace is closed on Fridays.
    • The synagogue opens from 10 AM to 1 PM and 3 to 5 PM and is closed on Fridays and Saturdays.

Houseboats are categorized into Deluxe, Luxury and Premium classes. Deluxe houseboats will have very basic amenities. While booking a tour with us, you can ask our executive for a premium or luxury houseboat especially during the summer season, for better experience.
